Overview
Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time Bus Driver/Automotive Mechanic Helper with full benefits. This position involves the operation of an automotive vehicle used to transport students and/or passengers and automotive repair and maintenance work at the beginning level as a helper.
Typical work may include but is not limited to the following:
Operates a school bus on a regular schedule and/or on special occasions: Check the operating condition of the bus before starting the trip; Checks tires and repairs flats Changes oil and lubricates automotive vehicles; Assists mechanics in repairing and overhauling brake systems, differentials, transmissions and front and rear axles; Related work as required.
