You will demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles pertinent to resident care and engage with patients according to their specific physical and psychosocial needs. As an LPN, you will: Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents. Contribute to resident assessments and administer medications or treatments as prescribed. Provide technical support to healthcare professionals when necessary. Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary needs. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, health care providers, and the public. Communicate clearly and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Advise residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans under the direction of supervising medical personnel. Implement self-care programs based on resident education principles. You'll also perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Preferred experience in long-term care, sub-acute care, or medical/surgical settings. Current licensure as a practical nurse in the applicable state(s) is required.
