An appropriate New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility (CE), or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS). Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred), unless otherwise specified by the New Jersey Department of Education. Basic Functions and Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet students' individual needs. Assess and report on student progress regularly. Instruct students in citizenship, communication skills, and core subject areas. Provide instruction suited to students with varying abilities. Maintain classroom discipline and standards of behavior. Manage instructional resources and materials. Participate in professional development activities. Coordinate with aides, assistants, and other staff. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Reporting To
