General Manager
at the beautiful Crowne Plaza North Augusta, located in Riverside Village, just steps from the Savannah River and across from Downtown Augusta. Our hotel is close to the Convention Center, Bell Auditorium, James Brown Arena, and features a vibrant neighborhood atmosphere with restaurants, bars, and a rooftop bar with sunset views. As General Manager, you will oversee the hotel's success by leading daily operations, shaping strategic direction, and fostering a high-performance, employee- and guest-focused culture. Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Team Management : Recruit, train, mentor, and lead department heads and staff; promote a collaborative, inclusive environment that boosts morale and productivity; uphold company and brand standards; align team with company mission, vision, and values. Operational Excellence : Oversee front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and sales; maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction; ensure compliance with brand standards and policies; work a 5½-day week including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Financial Management : Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and KPIs; analyze performance data; implement initiatives to improve efficiency and revenue. Sales & Marketing Oversight : Collaborate with sales and marketing to maximize occupancy and revenue; build community relationships; support marketing strategies to enhance brand presence. Compliance & Safety : Ensure adherence to regulations, lead safety and risk management initiatives, oversee maintenance to protect assets. Requirements : Minimum 5 years as a General Manager in a branded hotel environment, preferably with IHG or Marriott. Proven success in guest satisfaction, leadership, and financial performance. Strong operational knowledge across hotel departments. Hands-on leadership style to engage and develop teams. Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, P&L management. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in hospitality management systems. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Preferred Attributes : Passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
