The Church of the Palms in Okatie, SC is seeking a
Music Program Director
to lead the church’s music program. This person will be responsible for directing the choir, coordinating music for various services including handbells and chimes. The Music Director will work closely with the pastor and accompanist to coordinate music for regular services and special programs such as the Christmas and Easter Cantatas, Holy Week programs, and the annual Hymn Sing.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in managing multiple music programs
Strong people skills with an ability to inspire volunteers
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in music education and/or equivalent experience
At least three years of music leadership experience
Choral piano skills are a plus
