Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT Imaging Studies
Construction began in September 2021 of the new AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway hospital. This $160+ million project is located on Palm Coast Parkway near Bridgehaven Drive. The four-story hospital and medical office building opened in August 2023, and joins AdventHealth Palm Coast to provide additional convenience and comprehensive care, including world-class orthopedics services to Flagler residents. AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway offers an emergency department with full-service imaging; five operating suites; endoscopy services; an outpatient laboratory; heart catheterization labs; 20 critical care patient rooms and 80 for general medical or surgical care. Schedule: PRN Shift: Day, specific shift options will be discussed in interview Location: AdventHealth Palm Coast The community you'll be caring for: 60 MEMORIAL MEDICAL PKWY, Palm Coast, 32164 The role you'll contribute: Performs Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT Imaging studies. Handles, administers, calculates dosage and prepares Radionuclide. Maintains records in accordance with departmental policy and procedures as well as within state requirements. Acting Radiation Safety Officer for FHI. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Assists in Radiology department as needed. Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT marketing to physician referrers for FHI. Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies. The value you'll bring to the team: Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Imaging studies. Handles, administers, calculates dosage and prepares Radionuclides as required. Maintains records in accordance with departmental policy and procedures as well as within state requirements. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Assists in Radiology department as needed. Markets to local area physician referral base to promote PET/CT. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Must be a graduate of an A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B approved program with current A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. registration Required Current Florida Nuclear Medicine license. Newly graduated technologist should be able to work unattended shift, with only occasional guidance needed within six months. Required Experienced technologist should be able to work independently in one month.
