THE POSITION: Photo Retoucher & Digital Asset Manager
Responsibilities Retouch and Crop all creative assets in a cohesive manner appropriate to the brand and marketing requirements/specs. This includes existing internal photography, tabletop, location, headshots, influencer content, UGC (User Generated Content), and showrooms. Edit and manipulate images for color correction, compositing, skin color changes/blemish removal, and background cleanup using industry-standard software. Work with our sales team to fulfill customer render requests via digital manipulation and compositing (product, color, layout, sizing, etc.) Prepare final images for web, print, and other digital formats with attention to resolution, cropping, and color profiles. Usage governance: Ensure usage/meta data is shared appropriately with creative team. Participate in photo reviews, offering feedback and solutions to meet creative direction and project deadlines.
DAM Responsibilities Provide images from DAM for all marketing assets including but not limited to email, social media, website and print. Work directly with designers to ensure all images are retouched for layout, in correct format, and color profile. Manage digital asset management (DAM) system . Name files appropriately, upload all necessary attachments, add metadata information, manage & train users. Maintain and organize digital asset libraries and adhere to established workflow processes for editing, file naming, and archiving. Search for and purchase stock photography as needed, oversee usage coordination and manage images licensing terms and timelines. Oversee image usage terms and conditions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 3+ years of Photoshop, photo retouching, and color correction experience Proven experience in high-volume and/or high-end photo retouching, preferably in a commercial or editorial setting. An understanding of light, transparencies and color density Extremely reliable and highly organized Strong eye for detail, color accuracy, composition and quality control. Maintain production of a high volume of images under very tight deadlines Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; familiarity with additional Adobe Creative Suite tools a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain consistent file management practices. Strong communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field preferred. Experience with AI generated/composited images a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $75k-$85k, commensurate with experience.
