offers more than cures and fixes for pet’s maladies — we provide long-term solutions. Position Purpose: We are currently offering up to a $50K Sign-On Package for this opening! We are on the lookout for an experienced veterinarian to bring their knowledge and passion to our pet-loving community. Our bustling practice is led by our wonderful managing DVM, who has built a strong support team to provide top-notch care to our multi-generational clientele. We are a team that works hard and plays hard, with the same goal of completing our responsibilities and daily tasks in a timely manner. Additionally, we are encouraged to “unplug” after each shift and take time for ourselves and our families. Full and part-time positions available. About the area:
Also known as Belle City, Racine truly embodies the beauty of the Midwest. It may have a small-town feel, but it is bustling with activity. Being located along the shores of Lake Michigan AND having Root River winding through the city, fishing, hiking, and kayaking are easy to find for the outdoor enthusiast. Racine is also known for its large festivals (Independence Day), eclectic cuisine (You must try the Kringle!), and art galleries (the largest contemporary collection in America). Essential Responsibilities: Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries. Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results. Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options. Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed. Provide counsel around pet end of life care. Maintain patients’ medical records. Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
