Description: ASSISTANT VOLLEYBALL COACH
Location: Platte Canyon Middle School
Schedule: August - October 2025
Salary: Per Board approved 2025-2026 Coaching Salary Schedule - $875.50
Qualifications: C oaching experience at the middle school or high school level desired.
Playing experience in high school and college preferred
Evidence of continued pursuit of coaching education
Minimum of 3 references to support character, leadership qualities and validate experience
Responsibilities:
Coaches report to the school athletic director and the school principal.
Leadership is to be provided in the following areas:
Be an active positive member of the faculty
Teach sound, safe fundamentals in progression to enhance the athlete's
opportunity to succeed
Establish and execute sound and proven offensive and defensive strategies
Monitor athletes' behavior on the court, classroom and community
Work with athletic director on budget and supply orders
Assist athletic director with court maintenance and preparation
Distribute, collect and inventory equipment and supplies
Establish and maintain sound communications with parents, boosters and community
