FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER
BOROUGH OF SPRINGDALE, PENNSYLVANIA
The Borough of Springdale, Allegheny County, is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Police Officer(s).
Springdale is located approximately 15 miles north of the City of Pittsburgh, with a population of approximately 3,500.
Applications are available, Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm at the Borough of Springdale Municipal Building, 325 School Street Springdale, Pa.15144, or by email request to the Chief of Police - ddayoub@springdaleborough.com.
Completed applications must be turned in to the Borough Office BY 3:30 pm on August 8th, 2025.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.
Possess a high school diploma or a graduate equivalency diploma (GED).
Be a United States citizen.
Be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer.
Possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Be Pennsylvania Act 120 certified or be able to pass the final MPOETC Act 120 exam prior to employment.

Applicant must pass a physical fitness assessment, written test as well as a psychological assessment. All applicants must pass a comprehensive background investigation.
