AWS Cloud Engineer
supporting a growing federal financial program. This individual will have to have experience in a multi-cloud environment. Responsibilities Include: Develop and design cloud solutions (within AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI) and Design/build solutions, and processes to deploy, operate, and maintain resilient secure Cloud environments to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible. Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and SRE principles. Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts. Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments. Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance. Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking. Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s and five years or more of related experience. Master’s and three or more years of related experience. (4 years' experience in lieu of degree). Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in 4 or more of the following areas:
Project Management methodologies including Scrum or Agile. Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence. CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory). CSPs including Azure, AWS, OCI, or GCP. Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm. Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation. Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow. Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures. Disaster Recovery planning and implementation in cloud environments. Experience designing and implementing landing zone architectures in cloud environments, including multi-account strategies, network segmentation, and security controls.
Professional cloud certifications from multiple cloud service providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect). Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures. Familiarity with federal government compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, Cloud Smart Strategy, etc.) Experience with Zero Trust architecture principles and implementation in cloud environments. Experience with Identity Principles and Access Management at large/enterprise scale. Understanding of Cloud Network principles. Job Description

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
