Qualifications
Minimum of four (4) years degree in engineering or business, a minimum of 6 six (6) years of related experience managing and delivering complex projects. Minimum of (1) year experience managing projects within a Marine Inspector Training Program and be familiar with utilizing the Coast Guard Competency Management Tool (CMT) and the CGFIXIT Help Desk application. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software suite, including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, and Excel. Demonstrated experience in Project management, facilitation, project management toolset implementation, and organization transformational efforts. Demonstrated experience communicating and interacting with Executive Level Service. Strong leadership qualities; strong interpersonal skills; high level of professionalism; ability to work effectively with others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Education
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required in Engineering or Business. Applicants with a non-related four (4) year degree shall possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Security
Secret clearance required.
Work Location:
Will work mostly “Remote” and “Onsite” either Washington, D.C. or Yorktown, VA.
Travel
Occasional travel is expected with this position, mostly East Coast and the Midwest.
