- Will the Locum Provider Be Responsible for Grossing Their Own Specimens? Yes
- Will the Locum Provider Be Cutting Their Own Frozen Sections on the Cryostat? No

- Cytology Proficiency Exam Required for GYN Cytolology: Non-gyn only
- Method of Preparation: liquid base prep
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 1800 billables in clinical lab per day
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic Beaker
- Weekend Requirements: every 2 weeks
- On Call Requirements: rotating call every two weeks, weeknights and weekends
- Taking call blood bank/organ procurement (rare)/frozen sections two weeks on and two weeks off.
- Also reviewing specimens from techs that meet pathologist review criteria.
- Pathologist cuts frozens after hours only.
- Grossing is alternated one day biopsies and one day surgical sections
