DUTIES: Assess current state of Operational Excellence Program, design, and implement 5-year maturation program via continuous improvement methodologies (DMAIC, Boston Scientific Continuous Improvement Essentials, and International Excellence Standards). Design, implement and maintain effective metrics to understand process/service health and customer expectations.

Identify, analyze, design, and implement Boston Scientific Continuous Improvement Essentials, manufacturing and business process improvements to increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce non-valued added processes, improve quality, and improve process flow and efficiency.

Responsible for functional capacity and labor cost processes by performing cycle time studies to calculate process and capacity, workloads, required headcount, and establishing standard costs for the product/service using Boston Scientific COGS methodology. Identify and capture the value of projects in Boston Scientific Value Improvement Process.

Design, develop, and deploy training programs according to the Boston Scientific Continuous Improvement Essentials. Build a continuous improvement culture by mentoring, coaching, and training all levels of employees on Boston Scientific Continuous Improvement Essentials and relevant Operational Excellence concepts. Serve as facilitator/project manager for cross-functional teams and large-scale projects impacting multiple processes, products/services and sites. May require to travel/telecommute.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer requires a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering or a related technical field plus 12 months experience in job offered, Production Manager or related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Boston Scientific Continuous Improvement Essentials Implementation, 2) Boston Scientific COGS methodology and labor process, 3) Boston Scientific High Performing Principles Implementation, 4) Boston Scientific Value Improvement Process Implementation, 5) DMAIC continuous improvement methodology, 6) Design Key Performance Indicators, and 7) Capacity process.

SALARY:

From $97,635 to $105,934 per year
