Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is seeking Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologists (Special Procedures Technologist) to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, located at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Services include a full range of Interventional Radiology Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including call shifts. Multiple shift schedules with on-call service are available. Full-time, Travel, and Per Diem candidates are considered for this position. Responsibilities
Provide IR Imaging care comparable to state-of-the-art civilian medical facilities, meeting or exceeding VA Standards and TJC Follow ARRT Practice Guidelines and Standards to enhance service quality Promote safe and effective diagnostic radiology use through specialized training and techniques Perform organ-specific and subspecialty imaging, including abdomen, pelvis, neuroradiology, cardiovascular/extremity, and vascular imaging Complete related administrative tasks Qualifications
High School Diploma Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program ARRT (R) certification is required; ARRT (VI) preferred American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification is required At least two years of proven clinical IR Imaging experience in a Level 1 hospital setting within the past 12 months Experience with GE Innova 3100 Biplane, GE Innova 4100 CT/Angiography Single Plane, and Toshiba Biplane and CT/Angiography is preferred VA experience is desirable No sponsorship available Pay Range
$52.16 - $107.90 hourly Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during work shifts Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
