Job Purpose Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test equipment. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions. Performs operational tests and fault isolation, assists in remedying malfunctions, and supports the design and testing of test equipment using various diagnostic tools. Responsibilities Implement workflow for all levels of product integrations into the MES system. Implement traceability elements and create routings for the shop floor based on integration process steps for new products. Coordinate MES improvements with IT. Understand product workflows to support activities like time studies, labor updates, and work instruction development. Ensure customer requirements are met and implement traceability requirements into workflows. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to create solutions on the shop floor. Support manufacturing and other departments as needed. Qualifications AA Degree in engineering or equivalent; BS degree preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing environments and factory systems is a plus. Minimum two years supporting engineering teams or working in electronics manufacturing. Understanding of production environments. Ability to work under deadlines and communicate effectively. Detail-oriented, fast learner, team player, flexible, and self-motivated.
