Position Overview:
nAre you someone who has a passion for how things work, designing mechanical and electrical solutions, and streamlining production for efficiency? CME is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with experience in integrated systems-such as cables/wire harnesses, machine tools, robots, power supplies, and test equipment-who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving real-world manufacturing challenges.
nKey Responsibilities:

- Lead or support multiple, simultaneous engineering projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. n
- Read and interpret specifications to create or revise drawings, part lists, and bills of materials (BOMs). n
- Use ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint) to manage BOMs and production data. n
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues alongside assembly teams using common-sense or innovative approaches. n
- Author and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, system specs, and customer-specific requirements. n
- Participate in and contribute to design reviews to enhance product manufacturability and documentation accuracy. n
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities by improving processes, procedures, and eliminating waste. n
- Recommend improvements to products, equipment, technology, staffing, or facilities to leadership. n
- Support job estimation and quotation preparation. n
- Provide task-focused communication and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets. n
- Maintain quality standards and train others to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications. n
- Exercise directive leadership based on technical expertise, with close follow-up when delegating critical tasks. n
Minimum Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. n
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in electrical and/or mechanical systems, including cables, power supplies, or test equipment. n
- Regulatory Compliance: Positions at CME require access to controlled goods and technologies under ITAR or EAR, and therefore applicants must be "U.S. Persons" as defined by these regulations.
