Join our Advanced Programs team to design the future of power electronics and embedded control systems for applications like renewable energy, micro/nanogrids, robotics, heavy equipment, defense electronics, and aerospace systems. You'll work on high-impact projects that integrate cutting-edge hardware and real-time firmware, and even contribute to AI-driven and automation initiatives.

The Opportunity
Join our Advanced Programs team to design the future of power electronics and embedded control systems for applications like renewable energy, micro/nanogrids, robotics, heavy equipment, defense electronics, and aerospace systems. You'll work on high-impact projects that integrate cutting-edge hardware and real-time firmware, and even contribute to AI-driven and automation initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Design MCU-based systems for power conversion and energy management (inverters, DC/DC, AC/DC converters) using TI C2000 MCUs.
- Develop and optimize real-time embedded software, control algorithms, and low-level drivers (ADC, PWM, Timers, SPI, SCI, UART, CAN, etc.).
- Implement communication protocols (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus, TCP/IP).
- Collaborate with senior engineers on analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and FPGA designs.
- Create and review PCB layouts (standard, high-speed, multi-layer) using ORCAD 17.2.
- Build test tools and routines using LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and TestStand.
- Leverage evaluation kits and reference designs for rapid prototyping.
- Contribute to AI/ML tasks such as data collection, model training, and GANs, plus robotics programming for control and automation.
- Prepare design documentation, test plans, and technical reports.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 0-3 years of experience - we'll train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of power electronics, control systems, and MCU programming (C, C++, MATLAB, Python).
- Familiarity with Texas Instruments C2000 ecosystem (Code Composer Studio, DigitalPower SDK, powerSUITE).
- Understanding of PCB layout for high-speed circuits and manufacturing considerations.
- Plus factors: experience with AI/ML platforms, robotics programming, real-time data acquisition, or root cause analysis.
