As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will play an integral role alongside our pharmacy team, delivering on our mission and embodying our values of care and compassion.

Your involvement under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist is vital in maintaining a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment that prioritizes exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring Patient Safety
  • Upholding Pharmacy Professional Practices
  • Complying with Regulatory Requirements
  • Supporting Quality Assurance
  • Delivering Stellar Customer Service
  • Assisting with Inventory Management
  • Streamlining Workflow Management (excluding final prescription verification)

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: A crucial aspect of your role will be promoting patient health through different care programs. In addition, you will:

  • Lead with empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
  • Seek innovative ways to grow and collaborate, driving better health outcomes.
  • Rally support for our purpose, ensuring care remains at the heart of every health moment.

Education: Must be accepted or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited pharmacy school.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession or in-process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.

Physical Capabilities:

  • Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to remain mobile and upright for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift, scan, and bag items.
  • Finger dexterity for tasks such as typing and picking.
  • Visual acuity for precise tasks including transcribing and inspecting small parts.

Additional Information:

  • Preferred qualifications include immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
