Position Purpose: Join our team as a Customer Service Operations Associate, where you will provide top-notch customer service and ensure swift, friendly, and accurate checkout experiences. Your primary goal will be to embody our customer-first philosophy and contribute to the store's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion customer service programs to consistently meet or exceed service goals.
  • Handle customer relations positively, effectively resolving complaints.
  • Promote personalized service in alignment with our company’s philosophy.
  • Assist in supervising front-end operations, managing traffic flow, checkout coverage, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Oversee front-end productivity and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with daily reconciliation processes, including balancing cash registers and preparing deposit slips.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and report sales information to management.
  • Perform various administrative duties such as ordering money orders and managing cash flow requirements.
  • Help train and schedule front-end associates as needed.
  • Ensure equipment is operational and handle any scanning file issues promptly.
  • Respond to incoming calls and intercom messages accurately.
  • Manage payroll tasks, including inputting corrections and maintaining attendance records.
  • Engage in suggestive selling and strategies to prevent shrink and sales of expired products.
  • Maintain confidentiality concerning employee and store sales information.

Skills and Physical Requirements:

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on teamwork.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and project a positive image to the public.
  • Physical capability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to approximately 55 lbs.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting cash register and checkstand equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills to handle administrative details like planning and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and front-end operational policies.
