Position Summary:
This role is more than an EXPO , it is the opportunity to join a family, and act as a brand ambassador for bridging cultures through food. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education, quality service, and making sure they have a positive experience at our restaurant! We are counting on you to be an extension of our brand.
As an EXPO you are a critical link between the kitchen and the Front-of-House (FOH), ensuring that every dish is prepared accurately, plated properly and delivered to guests in a timely and organized manner. Your primary responsibilities are to coordinate the flow of orders, manage ticket time and ensure quality and consistency of all food leaving the kitchen.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining room with speed and accuracy
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff to ensure food is prepared and plated correctly
  • Perform final quality checks on dishes before they leave the kitchen
  • Maintain clean and organized expo station throughout service
  • Support smooth kitchen operations during peak service times
  • Work closely with servers to ensure guests receive a seamless dining experience
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 + years of experience in a high-volume restaurant position
  • A passion for hospitality, food and teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Familiarity with Burmese/Southeast Asian cuisine is a plus, but not required
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to acquire a valid Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment certification, RBS (alcohol) certification (before or within 2 + weeks of hiring)
