A high end hotel in Santa Cruz County is looking to add a Group Sales Manager to their team. This role offers the opportunity to drive group sales for a brand-new luxury property with significant growth potential. Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 base, up to 40% bonus potential, comprehensive health, dental, and vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, work from home flexibility, and much more!
Responsibilities:
- Achieve quarterly and annual group sales revenue goals
- Proactively solicit and sell meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions while maximizing revenue across room blocks, event spaces, and F&B
- Utilize Knowland, Cvent, Amadeus, and Opera for lead generation and account management
- Focus on luxury incentive group sales and high-level corporate retreats
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts while identifying new opportunities
- Travel for trade shows and industry events with comprehensive reporting
- Collaborate with Director of Sales & Marketing on strategic initiatives
- Win site visits through persuasive presentations and relationship building
- Minimum 2 years of proven group sales experience
- Experience with incentive markets, corporate retreats, and high-end group business
- Proficiency in Amadeus sales management systems preferred
- Knowledge of SITE or MPI organizations preferred
- Background from luxury branded or boutique properties
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to travel for trade shows and client meetings
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and building client relationships
- Ability to work on property 4 days per week
