The EHS Specialist operates under direct supervision of the EHS Engineer and provides clerical, administrative and technical support to EHS activities in an ISO14001-certified facility that participates in the WI DNR Green Tier program. They are responsible for gathering and inputting data, maintaining accurate records for regulatory reporting and compiling site metrics in support of the management team. The EHS Specialist needs to work effectively with site management and all employees when coordinating events, auditing or participating in projects. They maintain safety equipment inventory, perform periodic safety inspections, monitor hazardous waste removal vendors, and may assist in consolidating hazardous wastes.Supports management of site-specific EHS policies, programs and practices Maintain EHS records in an orderly fashion and strives to maintain electronic records when feasible. Inputs EHS regulatory data into data management systems.
