Managing Director at Capital Wealth and Tax Management LLC / Financial Consultant to Pilots in Aviation

Were looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team and play a key role in the tax return review process. This person will serve as a critical quality checkpoint reviewing and packaging returns for delivery to clients by the firms partners.

Responsibilities

• Review tax returns prepared by staff accountants for individuals, businesses, and trusts
• Ensure returns are accurate, complete, and ready to be delivered to clients
• Research and resolve complex tax issues as needed
• Help maintain efficient workflow and uphold high-quality standards
• Collaborate with partners to finalize deliverables, ensure timely filing, and identify areas to improve client experience

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance for individuals, businesses, and trusts required
• 5+ years of tax experience
• CPA/EA license a plus, but not required
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects under deadlines
