The ideal candidate will have proven experience performing OB/GYN ultrasound exams in a hospital or high-volume outpatient setting. This role is critical to supporting diagnostic services through high-quality imaging and collaboration with clinical teams.Key Responsibilities:Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical protocolsAccurately capture and archive diagnostic images, ensuring completeness and clarityCollaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to support diagnostic decision-makingMaintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionalityAdhere to HIPAA, infection prevention, and patient safety standardsProvide clear, compassionate communication and support to patients during proceduresParticipate in departmental quality assurance and improvement initiativesQualifications:Licensure & Certifications:Completion of a two-year accredited ultrasound program (didactic + clinical) - RequiredARDMS certification in OB/GYN - PreferredBLS certification - RequiredExperience:Hands-on experience performing OB/GYN ultrasounds in a hospital or outpatient setting - RequiredProficient in ultrasound equipment operation and image quality standardsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsEducation:Graduate of an accredited two-year ultrasound programAdditional certification or specialty training in OB/GYN - Preferred
