Independently performs CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. This role supports outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule. Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, with documented competencies in Radiology and CT. In addition to the essential functions of the job, employees must complete all required education as assigned per relevant requirements. Performs quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff. Operates with limited supervision, while maintaining attention to detail and high reliability. Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate. Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures. Completes documentation of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams. Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.
