Experience: Two years of previous radiology experience License: Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist) Certifications: - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in CT - American Heart Association BLS within 60 days of hire

Must-Have: Current CT Certification

Description: The Dual-modality Radiology Technologist delivers high-quality CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Independently performs CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. This role supports outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule. Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, with documented competencies in Radiology and CT. In addition to the essential functions of the job, employees must complete all required education as assigned per relevant requirements. Performs quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff. Operates with limited supervision, while maintaining attention to detail and high reliability. Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate. Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures. Completes documentation of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams. Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.

Schedule Requirements: Regular and sustained attendance is required. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.

Fine-Finger Movements (Continuously): Picking, pinching, typing, or working primarily with fingers. Vision (Continuously): Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, read computer screens, and printed materials. Cognitive Skills (Continuously): Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions.

Exposure to various chemicals and medications used in healthcare settings. Handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances. Infectious diseases caused by contact with patients. Emotionally challenging situations, including dealing with distressed patients or difficult family interactions.
