SteerBridge Strategies , a Veteran-led small business, is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our growing team based at our headquarters in Tysons Corner (Vienna, VA) . This is your opportunity to lead cloud transformation initiatives that modernize complex enterprise systems at scale.

What Youll Do
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, youll lead the design, deployment, and governance of secure, high-availability environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will:

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures using modern tools and platforms
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) and best practices
• Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions
• Lead cloud modernization and digital transformation efforts across enterprise platforms
• Conduct architecture reviews, cost optimization, and risk assessments
• Present detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment strategies
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and compliance trends
  

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on cloud engineering and architecture
• Expertise in at least one major platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Professional-level certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Architect Expert)
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to brief both technical and business stakeholders
  

Location:
Must be local to the Washington, D.C. metro area and able to work on-site at our Vienna, VA office (5 days/week) . Relocation assistance is available for highly qualified candidates.
