The Charleston Area Medical Center Institute for Academic Medicine is seeking to employ an advanced cardiac imaging specialist with skills in cardiovascular CT, cardiovascular MRI, and/or structural transesophageal echocardiography.
Required Qualifications:
- MD/DO from an accredited university medical school
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME cardiology residency and subspecialty training in Structural echocardiography, cardiovascular CT, and/or cardiovascular MRI
- Board certified with the ABIM in cardiology; preferred subspecialty certification in advanced imaging
- Ability to obtain a West Virginia medical license and DEA
- Ability to achieve hospital privileges at Charleston Area Medical Center
- Exceptional collaboration abilities
- Experience in supporting postgraduate fellowship training in medicine
This opportunity operates out of a dedicated cardiac imaging center with:
- Dedicated cardiac CT (Siemens Force, 600 scans/month)
- Nuclear Medicine with 2 CardioMDs (300 stress and non-stress scans/month)
- Echocardiography with 5 outpatient units (550 exams/month)
- Dedicated cardiac MRI (Siemens Sola 1.5T, 80 scans/month)
- HeartFlow Program with quarterly quality awards
- Structural TEE program supporting TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO/ASD Closure
