Responsibilities and Practice Details
- Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
- Receive physician-level wound management training and participate in a wound fellowship for clinical excellence.
- W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.
- Enjoy autonomy and flexibility in work schedules, typically a 45-hour work week for full-time roles.
- Paid training during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship.
Minimum Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practicing state.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Work Schedule and Environment
- Work Monday through Friday (7 am - 4 pm) with part-time options available.
- No call or weekend responsibilities.
- Deliver wound management at skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
- Real-time clinical documentation using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
