Seeking Part-Time Neurosurgeon to join our large Multi-specialty group in Riverside, CA. This position is responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. The neurosurgeon will perform surgery on the nervous system and provide nonsurgical treatments.

Job Responsibilities

1. Performing surgery on the brain and spinal cord to treat disorders or injuries such as tumors, infections, trauma, birth defects, or vascular abnormalities.
2. Prescribing medications to treat pain and other symptoms while the patient is recovering from surgery.
3. Conducting research to develop new surgical techniques or improve existing ones.
4. Discussing treatment plans with patients and families to ensure that everyone understands the risks and benefits of the proposed procedure.
5. Operating robotic surgical tools to perform minimally invasive surgeries.
6. Performing diagnostic tests such as MRI scans, CT scans, and EEGs to evaluate neurological problems.
7. Diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system including the spinal cord and spine.
8. Determining the best course of treatment for each patient based on their unique condition and needs.
