Base pay range

$275,000.00/yr - $325,000.00/yr

A leading behavioral health agency is seeking a licensed and experienced Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for its brand-new outpatient clinic in Staten Island. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated care team, shape clinical strategy, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.

About the Role:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Location: Hybrid - combination of remote and in-person work

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision for psychiatric services
  • Oversee care quality, compliance, and clinical outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery
  • Contribute to program development and innovation within the clinic

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed Psychiatrist (MD or DO) in New York State
  • Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry OR General Psychiatry + Addiction Medicine
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry and/or substance use treatment
  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical or administrative capacity
  • Active DEA license
  • Federal DATA 2000 waiver (buprenorphine-certified)
  • Approved PECOS and OPRA provider status in NYS
