The
Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) Operation
is a vital aspect of Leidos' extensive range of integrated security solutions, ensuring safety in aviation, ports, borders, and critical infrastructure on a global scale. With over 24,000 products deployed in 120 countries, our diverse portfolio empowers us to meet emerging threats through innovative solutions. This position requires travel to various customer locations both domestically and internationally. SES operates through three key divisions to better serve our customers' diverse needs: Aviation Solutions Ports & Borders Global Services Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer support through the installation, modification, and maintenance of complex equipment and systems. Conduct hands-on installation and testing of equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Diagnose equipment malfunctions during start-up and implement corrective measures. Follow assigned work assignments closely, with room for both structured and independent tasks. Adhere to established guidelines, procedures, and policies. Engage in semi-routine assignments while recognizing deviations from established practices. Efficiently manage resources and schedules to coordinate repairs in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs). Respond promptly to needs in a 24/7 operational environment, including on-call duties and potentially long-distance travel. Utilize CRM systems like Salesforce, Maximo, and GURU to manage and update work orders for customers. Basic Qualifications: Trade experience related to electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems, or equivalent military training, with at least 2 years of relevant field service experience. A minimum of 2 years experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork. Willingness to travel at short notice and responsive to customer inquiries at all times. Ability to pass an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP). Preferred Qualifications: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills capable of managing multiple projects concurrently. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations. Self-motivated and dependable, demonstrating accountability in all tasks. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and push/pull 200 lbs. Capacity to handle equipment weighing up to 1000 lbs. using appropriate tools and safety measures as outlined in manuals. Comfortable performing consistent physical activities, including bending, stooping, and working in various positions. Commitment to safety protocols while working in challenging environments, including extreme temperatures and noisy conditions. Salary Range:
