PRIMARY PURPOSE: To support district branding and communication by creating high-quality print and digital materials, coordinating with the Print Shop to fulfill design needs across campuses and departments. This position also serves as the district's web content designer, responsible for maintaining visually consistent, accessible, and up-to-date webpages for campuses and departments.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification:
Associate or bachelor's degree in graphic design,

or a related field. Special Knowledge/Skills:
Expertise in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Canva Experience with front-end web design (HTML/CSS basics) Strong copyediting and proofreading skills Digital photography skills Sound organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent written and oral communications skills Keeping up to date with industry trends and technologies Experience:
Two years of experience in graphic and web design, and experience on Apple computers and Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud products.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
: Graphic Design
Develops creative assets for print and digital use, including flyers, programs, and promotional graphics. Provides design support to campuses and departments - ensuring alignment with district branding. Prepares production-ready files and coordinates with Print Shop staff on scheduling and output. Maintains organized archives of reusable design templates and materials. Reviews and edits content for accuracy, clarity, and visual consistency. Captures photos and supporting visuals at district or campus events as needed. Web Design
Maintains and updates district and campus webpages with timely, relevant content. Ensures web content is accessible and compliant with WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and district guidelines. Monitors websites for outdated content, broken links, and design inconsistencies. Enhances user experience through clean layouts, updated graphics, and visual consistency. Supports staff with content submissions and basic web-related troubleshooting. Partners with IT/web services team on functionality enhancements and integrations. Designs web graphics and landing pages for district campaigns and initiatives. Other
