Join Our Team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician!
What You'll Be Doing:
Maintain and repair a variety of industrial equipment including conveying systems and key machine centers such as debarkers, canters, gang saws, and edgers.
Interpret and implement blueprints and technical instructions to ensure precise repairs.
Exhibit initiative in a high-pressure environment while prioritizing safety.
Have a foundational understanding of pump alignments, machine centers, sheaves, and sprockets.
Utilize hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks for moving heavy machinery and equipment.
Make adjustments using hand tools and measuring instruments to set clearances between stationary and moving parts.
Align machinery with tools such as hoists, jacks, squares, and micrometers.
Assemble and install machinery components skillfully using both hand and power tools.
Measure and drill precise mounting holes for installation.
Replace and adjust machine parts for optimal performance, ensuring clearances and alignments are within specifications.
Level bedplates and establish centerlines with straightedges and levels.
Dismantle machinery using a range of hand tools efficiently.
Attach and secure moving parts to assembly units utilizing your expertise with tools.
What You Need for Success:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Possession of basic hand tools is necessary.
Commitment to safety and compliance with ZES standards.
A minimum of two years of verifiable experience as a Millwright is essential.
Experience with welding (GMAW and/or SMAW) is a must.
Familiarity with cutting torches (Oxygen/Acetylene) is necessary.
Flexibility to work both night and day shifts.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, reference check, and background check.
