About Us:

Palm Palm is a lively, high-energy small plates concept known for bold flavors, a dynamic team culture, and an exceptional guest experience. We pride ourselves on hospitality driven service, consistent quality, and a vibrant dining atmosphere. We’re seeking a hands-on, driven, and guest-obsessed General Manager to lead our front office house team to excellence. The General manager will work closely with the Executive Chef to drive service, profitability, and team culture.

Position Summary:

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading and mentoring staff, driving financial performance, and maintaining our high standards of service and hospitality in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will be the face of the restaurant and the key driver of its success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all restaurant operations with an emphasis on guest satisfaction, quality control, and team performance

Hire, train, schedule, and develop team members across both FOH and BOH

Monitor and control inventory, food and labor costs, and other P&L metrics

Maintain a high level of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the restaurant

Ensure all health and safety regulations are consistently followed

Develop and execute service strategies to improve sales and efficiency during high-volume hours

Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally

Foster a positive, energetic, and team-oriented culture

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leadership role (preferably in a high-volume or fast-paced concept)

Proven track record of managing food and labor costs

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

Passion for hospitality and team development

Working knowledge of restaurant management software, scheduling tools, and POS systems

ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain

Extensive OpenTable experience

Toast POS experience preferred

Preferred but Not Required:

Experience with small plates, tapas, or shared dining concepts

Knowledge of beverage program management
