This role is currently based at our Minneapolis office and will transition to our new headquarters in Dayton, MN, in 2027.
The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for supporting the administration of employee benefit programs, including retirement plans and health and welfare plans. In addition, the role will continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and employee satisfaction of these programs. What You Will Do at Graco
Assist in the day-to-day administration of retirement (401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), pension, etc.) and health and welfare (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.) benefit plans.
Respond to escalated employee inquiries regarding benefit offerings, eligibility, enrollment, and claims processes.
Support open enrollment activities including implementation of new benefit programs, testing of the Workday system, communications, and troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefit records in Workday and other systems.
Generate standard reports and support audits related to benefits compliance and data integrity.
Assist with annual proxy and tally sheet processes.
Stay current with benefits regulations (e.g. ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA) and assist with compliance-related tasks.
Support team initiatives related to wellness, employee communications, and process improvements.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring to Graco
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Demonstrated ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
Exceptional communication and organization skills with a commitment to accuracy and detail.
Solutions-oriented with an ability to make judgments and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent customer service orientation, flexible and adaptable to change, team player, and continuous improvement mindset.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Accelerators

Strong interest in employee benefits.
Ability to take initiative/ownership and achieve objectives as required.
HRIS (Workday) experience (not required).
Global industrial manufacturing experience and knowledge.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. $26.11 - $45.72
