Join our team as a Full Time Registered Pharmacy Technician and dive into a role where you'll be at the heart of ensuring seamless medication delivery to nursing home facilities. Location: On site at our closed-door, Rosedale MD, pharmacy (9006 Yellow Brick Road, Rosedale, MD) Salary: $18 - $20 per hour (dependent upon experience and license type) + $1.50/hr Shift Differential Available Schedule: 3rd Shift:

We are growing and that means more opportunities Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for the understanding and working knowledge of the pharmacy computer systems, including, but not limited to Framework, Error Queue, DocuTrack, Paxit Manager, Noritsu and MTS as it pertains to order entry functions to ensure accurate, timely prescription/patient information input. Responsible for basic understanding and working knowledge of communication with eHR systems. Enter orders to include, but not limited to, new orders, refills, DC’s, STAT orders, controlled substance orders, admissions, discharges, room changes, OSS (emergency kit) billing/processing, leave of absence requests, extra dose requests and clarifications as permitted by regulatory scope of technician practice. Assist with order triage in DocuTrack and eRX Queue. Assist with addressing orders in the Error Queue. Appropriately manage workflow and adjust as needed based on priority and daily assignments. As permitted by regulation, and under the supervision of the pharmacist, assist with follow-up, troubleshooting, problem solving and clarifications. Assists with answering incoming calls including, but not limited to, assisting with customer questions/requests, directing customers to appropriate staff, and assisting facility staff with ordering (receiving orders as permitted by regulation i.e., refill requests, XD’s, etc.). Works in collaboration with the Order Entry leadership to meet department goals and objectives. Assist with onboarding. Compliance Responsibilities Must have a Pharmacy Technician license that is active and in good standing. Complies with all Company Policies, Procedures, and training requirements. Conducts work and professional activities ethically and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) Boards of Pharmacy State Health Agencies DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and related state agencies
Completes required Corporate Compliance trainings and acts in accordance with Corporate Compliance Policies & Procedures:
HIPAA/Privacy Policy Medicare Part D General Compliance and Fraud, Waste and Abuse Clarest’s Code of Conduct OSHA workplace standards
Promptly report any business activity that you believe may violate the law, Company policies, or the Code of Conduct and understands the different ways in which compliance concerns may be reported. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED is required Must have a MA Pharmacy Technician license that is active and in good standing Proven experience as a pharmacy technician Other Responsibilities: Perform other duties as directed or assigned. Work with pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians to improve pharmacy workflow process. Maintain a neat, clean and orderly personal workspace. Assist and participate in maintaining a clean and orderly workplace including, but not limited to, common areas such as break room, restrooms, copier room, lobby and locker room areas. Participate in special projects or training. Work with others in a positive productive professional manner ensuring appropriate responsive behavior. Customer Focus (internal & external customers)
