Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for providing professional and customer-focused service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience for guests. They will work closely with the Culinary and Service teams to ensure One&Only service standards exceed the expectations of guests. They will also work with the F&B Leadership team to establish training and implement plans that will help the team accomplish departmental goals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain a complete knowledge of all Food & Beverage offerings, including drinks and food items Maintain a knowledge of Food & Beverage sequence of service and standards, going above and beyond for guests and customers dining within the outlets Maintain proper knowledge and the ability to sell both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered while maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the bar Use of designated glassware, ingredients, preparation method, and garnishes required Maintain a complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving Ensures compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising follow-up, and hands-on management To continuously collect feedback from guests and report it back to management To assist with any other duties that are required by Food & Beverage management or another member of the hotel management team Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements

At least 2 years' experience at a similar level Workplace training from within a high-standard hotel environment Knowledge of catering operations and beverage practices within the catering industry Experience in a 5* upmarket resort would be an advantage but not a requirement Excellent communication skills Montana state approved TIPS certification Food Handler's certification Benefits

The ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:

Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending in an operational environment for extended periods Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and pulling Lifting and carrying of loads weighing up to 50 pounds Working in outdoor environments, including high altitudes, that may present extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.
