This is not simply our job, it's our passion.Job Summary The Team Leader, Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining guest rooms, private homes, and surrounding areas to the highest standard. In doing so, they must adhere to O&O standards, ensuring that hygiene, cleanliness, and tidiness are always achieved. Key Duties & Responsibilities Enforces all standards and procedures for the resort's Housekeeping servicesResponsible for the overall cleanliness, replenishment, and maintenance of guest rooms, private homes, and public areasResponsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all assigned work areasInspects guest rooms daily, such as before arrivals, after departures, and while occupied, ensuring that they are cleaned to the highest level, all maintenance is reported and rectified, and standards are being adhered toInspects all VIP arrival rooms prior to arrival, as well as throughout their stay, ensuring day and turndown service occurredEnsures the resort's Lost & Found procedures are always adhered toEnsures the proper use and care of cleaning agents and equipmentEnsures supplies and stock levels are maintained in pantriesEnsures stationery and collateral are in good repairTakes ownership in assigned areas of preventative maintenance programs, guaranteeing that work is carried out in an effective and efficient mannerReports all defects immediately, following up to ensure the completion of maintenanceEnsures safe work practices are strived towardsSupervises subordinates, conducting training on a regular basis, as well as when requested by superiorsGuarantees that the tasks provided are executed to meet the expectations of O&O standardsMonitors the attendance of their allocated section of subordinatesPerforms corrective performance discussions with staffConducts performance reviews for assigned staff membersSkills, Experience, & Educational Requirements Must have a thorough knowledge of housekeepingMust have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory position in a five star or higher category resortAbility to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and managers is requiredAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts is essentialAlways maintains a positive attitudeBenefitsMedical insurance - 80% of premium paid by employerHealth Savings Account with $50 employer contribution per pay periodDental, vision & life insurance - 100% of premium paid by employer5 weeks of PTO (Paid Time Off)8 paid holidaysUniform provided & complimentary launderingComplimentary transportation to/from resortComplimentary meal per shiftSubsidized housing based on availabilityDiscounts at F&B outlets on property14 nights per year at $100/night* at Kerzner Properties worldwideWinter season includes complimentary ski pass to Big Sky Resort based on availability OR $225 reimbursement towards gym membershipPhysical RequirementsThe ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation.
