Proposal Pricing Analyst
to support its Environmental Solutions sales division. This Fortune 500 organization serves a broad portfolio of national clients, and this role plays a critical part in the proposal and pricing strategy behind new business and renewals.
This hybrid position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in pricing, financial or sales analysis, and advanced Excel skills-particularly those who enjoy working with large data sets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping win business through thoughtful, data-driven pricing strategies.
Overview
As a Proposal Pricing Analyst, you'll contribute to the proposal lifecycle by analyzing costs, profitability, and service histories to generate accurate pricing strategies for national clients. You'll partner closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to build compelling, data-backed proposals for both new opportunities and service renewals. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive requests are key.
Responsibilities Support the Environmental Solutions sales team with pricing and data analysis for requests for proposals (RFPs), service changes, and special projects Gather and reconcile data from multiple departments to ensure accurate pricing submissions Work under tight deadlines while managing a proposal calendar that includes stakeholder review periods Analyze trends, build reports, and support the development of department performance metrics Calculate profitability using established Excel models and develop customer-facing pricing documentation Research historical data to inform pricing decisions for both existing and prospective client locations Present pricing recommendations to key stakeholders with supporting financial rationale Evaluate pricing strategies and tools, suggesting improvements to increase efficiency or profitability Perform SOX-related controls on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance with accounting standards Deliver monthly revenue, cost, and profit analysis to leadership Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, sales analytics, digital marketing, marketing, or a related technical/business field Hands-on experience preparing pricing strategies or cost models, ideally within the environmental services or logistics industry Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and complex data manipulation Compensation, Schedule, & Location
$33 - $43 /hr North Scottsdale / Phoenix HYBRID - 4 days on site, 1 day remote Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm
