How you’ll spend your time as a Talent Acquisition Specialist: Manage full-cycle hiring and talent pipeline development. Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing needs. Coordinate job postings on various platforms, ensuring accurate and engaging job descriptions that comply with the law. Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments. Schedule and facilitate interviews, providing seamless experiences for both candidates and hiring teams. Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) accuracy and ensure timely updates on candidate progress. Assist in developing and refining hiring processes. Support employer branding efforts, including social media campaigns, job fairs, and community engagement. Work with marketing operations to develop outreach strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates. Represent the company at networking events, industry conferences, and recruitment fairs. Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process. Ensure timely communication and updates to provide a positive candidate experience. Gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers to improve the recruitment process. Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and technical schools. Coordinate participation in career fairs, information sessions, and campus events. Develop internships and early-career hiring programs in partnership with academic institutions. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to facilitate a smooth onboarding process. Conduct orientation sessions and ensure new employees feel welcome and well-integrated. Support new hires in completing necessary paperwork and accessing company resources. Skills & experience we’d like you to have as a Talent Acquisition Specialist: 4+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Recruiting experience in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction industry is a plus. Experience with university relations and career fairs is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with hiring managers and external partners. Inquisitive with lots of questions and willing to speak up when you don’t understand.
