About the Role
The Company is looking for a dynamic Director of Institutional Philanthropy to enhance philanthropic partnerships with essential national stakeholders. The ideal candidate will create and execute strategic initiatives aimed at engaging funding organizations, emphasizing the acquisition of major and principal gifts that support various institutional programs and priorities. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience in institutional philanthropy, with a preference for backgrounds in healthcare or cancer-related fields.
This position requires collaboration with senior leaders, faculty, and researchers to cultivate a robust culture of institutional fundraising. The Director will play a critical role on the leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and key decision-making processes. Key responsibilities include overseeing institutional giving programs, keeping abreast of industry developments, and collaborating with the foundation relations team to prepare grant applications and proposals.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, creativity, and proficiency in managing a diverse portfolio of prospects and donors.
