Job Description

The

Manager of Operations, Digestive Health Institute Center of Advanced Endoscopy

Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of both clinic and lab functions ensuring seamless integration and exceptional patient experiences. Ensures effective supervision across all shifts and service areas. Recruits, onboards, and develops high-performing clinical and administrative teams aligned with Northwestern Medicine's mission and values. Designs and implements efficient workflows that enhance quality, safety and patient satisfaction Partners with clinical and vendor teams to safely adopt and operationalize advanced technologies Works closely with internationally recognized endoscopists, clinical leaders and executive stakeholders to support the center's strategic direction. Supports the integration of advanced training platforms such as simulation, augmented reality and live-streamed procedures. Optimizes patient throughput and care coordination while maintaining a safe, high-qualityenvironment of care. Supports the development of annual operating and capital budgets in partnership with senior leadership Monitors financial performance and market growth initiatives. Supports strategic planning and market growth initiatives Partners with leadership to advance improvement projects and innovation Lead process improvement initiatives using DMAIC and other methodologies Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, billing and accreditation standards Implement new protocols and technologies in collaboration with clinical teams Supports construction and facilities planning as needed Build strong relationships with staff, physicians, vendors and patients Actively seek and respond to feedback to improve service delivery Champion patient-centered care and satisfaction Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, nursing or other allied health professions 5-7 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations Experience leading procedural and/or surgical operations The individual shall be qualified by training, experience, interest, and demonstrated current ability Excellent interpersonal skills Exceptional time-management and organizational skills Preferred:

Strongly prefer Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, nursing, orother allied health professions Advanced certifications strongly preferred Strongly prefer experience leading procedural operations and managing ambulatory practices, working directly with a highly engaged group of Physicians Strong project management and analytical skills Gastroenterology, Hepatology, or General/Colorectal Surgery clinical experience Additional Information

at Central DuPage Hospital. The Center for Advanced Endoscopy will function at the level of an academic medical center, equipped with leading-edge technologies and procedures including third space endoscopy, endobariatrics, interventional EUS, complex ERCP, flexible robotic endoscopy, and pioneering applications of artificial intelligence in endoscopy.
