International Trade & Compliance Analyst

Job Description
As this is a hybrid role working out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates who currently reside in Northeast Ohio.
In this role within the Compliance Department, you will serve as a key liaison between internal departments, AG business units, manufacturing plants, and external logistics and compliance service providers.
You will support a broad range of supply chain compliance activities, specifically customs compliance, product classification, quality standards, and social compliance, ensuring that all trade-related processes align with applicable U.S. and international regulations.
Success in this role requires a working knowledge of international trade principles, an ability to interpret evolving global compliance requirements, and a proactive approach to minimizing regulatory risk while enabling operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Function as a tactical expert in the facilitation of AG's import and export activity, including the accurate classification of goods, compliance with U.S. and foreign Customs laws, and oversight of Customs documentation and duty management • Support implementation and alignment of supply chain compliance programs, including quality assurance standards, product testing compliance, and ethical sourcing (e.g., Sedex, SMETA, FSC) • Monitor and assess risks related to changes in tariffs, product standards, and import/export regulations • Work cross-functionally with business units, manufacturing sites, procurement, and external partners in gathering data, analyzing trade flows, and identifying cost or compliance risks while working to resolve compliance-related issues and drive improvements • Serve as a point of contact for third-party service providers including customs brokers and testing laboratories • Support internal training, audits, and compliance reporting related to trade, product, and social compliance requirements • Other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
Required Length & Type of Experience: • 2+ years of experience supporting Logistics or trade-related Compliance functions
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian customs regulations and product classification (HTS, Schedule B) • Understanding of regulatory frameworks • In-depth understanding of U.S. and international customs and trade regulations • Broad understanding of global supply chain operations and compliance frameworks • Strong experience in HTS classification and country of origin determination • Experience with customs processes, product classification, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions • Familiarity with free trade agreements (e.g., USMCA), duty mitigation programs (e.g., duty drawback), and import/export documentation • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret regulatory changes • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment • Solutions-oriented, growth mindset.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience in a trade or supply chain compliance role
