Own and develop customer relationships within a collaborative sales environment. Educate clients on ordering platforms and offer insights on menu options, product recommendations, and pricing strategies that lead to their success. Sales Expertise:
Your success hinges on your ability to drive customer sales, increase case growth, and onboard new clients. Deliver compelling sales presentations and customize your approach to meet individual customer needs, while managing your time and territory effectively. Collaborative Selling:
Partner with our Specialists to tap into top opportunities and open new accounts. Work alongside marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless product flow. Insightful Leader:
Cultivate new business by leveraging market intelligence, connecting with potential clients, and engaging in networking events, organizations, trade shows, and conferences. Delivery Management:
Oversee deliveries according to the transportation department's schedule; address any ordering issues such as mis-picks, short loads, or stock-outs promptly. Market Savvy:
Stay informed about market trends, product innovations, and competitor activity, providing valuable insights and solutions to clients. Active Engagement:
Regularly travel within your assigned territory to conduct check-ins and site visits, ensuring customer satisfaction. SUPERVISION No direct reports. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position involves working outside the office, visiting customers in varied weather conditions within the Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg areas. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1+ year of sales experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is required, with a clean motor vehicle record. Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality is preferred. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to cultivate relationships and effectively cold call for new business opportunities. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. A competitive mindset, driven to surpass goals. Problem-solving, organization, and negotiation abilities. A collaborative spirit to work with internal and external stakeholders.
