Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented
HR Generalist
to join our growing Human Resources team. This role will play a key part in supporting the teammate lifecycle by focusing on benefits administration, compensation support, leave of absence coordination, and general teammate support. The HR Generalist will report to the HR Services Manager and work cross-functionally with Payroll, Recruiting, and HR Business Partners to ensure exceptional teammate experience and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits & Leave Administration
Administer benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, HSA/FSA, and wellness initiatives Support annual open enrollment, vendor coordination, and teammate education Manage leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, personal leave, parental leave) and partner with Payroll and HRBPs for compliance and tracking Compensation & Data Support
Assist with job benchmarking and compensation reviews Maintain and audit job descriptions and pay structures Support annual merit and bonus processes, including communication and audit prep HR Operations & Teammate Support
Respond to teammate inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and systems in a timely and friendly manner Own HR documentation and file maintenance for compliance and audits Partner with Payroll on teammate status changes, adjustments, and terminations Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Identify opportunities to improve teammate-facing processes and service delivery Support implementation of new policies and SOPs Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred 3+ years of HR experience with hands-on work in benefits, payroll coordination, or generalist responsibilities Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs Experience with HRIS platforms (UKG, Paycom, ADP, or similar) Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism What We Offer
