Account Manager,
you will be responsible for managing and growing your assigned territory ( Michigan region ) by executing targeted sales strategies, fostering strong channel relationships, and delivering best-in-class packaging solutions to customers across industries. Your focus will be on acquiring new accounts, winning back previous customers, and strengthening relationships with existing clients. Key Responsibilities: Drive Territory Growth Implement strategic plans to achieve sales goals for equipment and materials, including
Autobag, SidePouch, FloWrap, StealthWrap, and PriorityPak Develop and execute strategies to win new business and reclaim lost accounts Grow market share within your territory and support overall regional growth initiatives
Partner with the Channel Team
Collaborate with internal Channel teams to drive adoption of corporate initiatives and go-to-market strategies Provide support and training to distributor sales reps on product knowledge and system selling techniques
Pipeline and Forecast Management
Utilize CRM tools to manage your pipeline, update opportunity status, and maintain accurate sales forecasts Participate in regular pipeline reviews with your Regional Sales Director and provide actionable insights
Customer Engagement
Deliver high-impact customer presentations, proposals, and packaging solutions that solve real-world business challenges Prepare quarterly business reviews for key accounts and stay informed on competitor activity
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams in customer service, technical support, applications, and marketing to deliver seamless customer experiences
Resource Management
Maintain field sales demo equipment and manage travel and expenses within budget guidelines
What You Bring:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred Experience: 1-2 years of field sales experience or 2-3 years of inside sales experience with a desire to grow into an outside sales role Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or industrial sales is a strong plus Experience selling large industrial equipment is a strong plus
Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Consultative selling approach with a knack for problem-solving
