Review architectural drawings, engineering specs, and RFPs to develop detailed and accurate cost estimates. Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam Revu and Excel. Develop subcontractor scopes of work and manage bid solicitations. Analyze and level subcontractor/supplier quotes. Assist with cost narratives and proposal pricing documentation. Collaborate in preconstruction handoff meetings for seamless project execution. Maintain and update historical cost data and contribute to process improvements. The Successful Applicant
1-3 years of experience in construction (GC or subcontractor background). Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn federal/SCIF project estimating. Experience with drywall, flooring, concrete, or similar trades is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam required. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Active clearance is a strong advantage.
