Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Analyst will be pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations. This role entails data analysis, inventory optimization, process evaluation, and performance reporting to support informed supply chain decisions and ensure clinical teams have the right products at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Procurement Support:
- Analyze inventory levels and usage trends to recommend optimal par levels.
- Monitor stockouts, expiration risks, and overstock issues, and propose corrective actions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and pricing comparisons.
- Support contract compliance by identifying variances or off-contract purchases.
- Identify opportunities for product standardization.
Data & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track supply usage, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze case costing data to identify supply utilization trends.
- Prepare reports for leadership on cost savings opportunities, operational efficiency, and supply chain performance.
Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to streamline supply chain processes.
- Evaluate supply workflows and recommend improvements (e.g., OR case cart optimization, supply room layout).
- Participate in system upgrades, product conversions, and new vendor/product evaluations.
Technology & Systems:
- Support maintenance and optimization of Envi.
- Assist in implementing barcode scanning and other supply chain technology initiatives.
- Train users on inventory systems and tools
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the purchasing manager, clinical leads, and sterile processing to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of supply needs.
- Serve as a liaison between supply chain, finance, and clinical departments for data sharing and project support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (required).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Experience with healthcare materials management systems preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in a healthcare or ASC environment preferred but not required.
